There is only one more book to do with GNR I can bear to read and its not this one.

I love how the reviewer says that Steven doesn't try to come across as being victimised, and then spends a huge chunk of the review talking about Axl picking on him... as if it was only Axl that had a problem with him. Rolling Eyes
I'm steering well clear of this book. Have no interest whatsoever in hearing what Steven has to say. My patience with him wore out years ago... back when he ran off with his band's money in the middle of Europe to do drugs, leaving the rest of the band stranded in a strange country actually.

I'll probably read it, although I have a million other books waiting to be read so it might be a while. But I am curious about what he's got to say and how his version of events will fit with all the others out there.

I ordered it through Amazon yesterday. Will read it, and will certainly keep in mind whose mind it's coming from. The excerpts I read in summary of his Howard Stern interview sounded hideous and disgusting. I hope the whole book doesn't dwell on that aspect...

I am sure we will have fun discussing and reviewing it here, once we've all had a look.

Steven and Adlers Appetite are coming to the Northwest on tour August 25th and 26th. I will plan to attend one of the shows, and I will enjoy it I'm sure!

I just bought it today and started reading it. I'm mostly reading it to figure out how he managed to write a book considering he probably doesn't remember the last 20 years of his life, but even though I've only read about 45 pages so far, it's making for some good entertainment.

I'll read it too, just like a book that comes out from every other (original!) GN'R member. For sure Steven's likely not the most reliable source when it comes to certain stories, but it's his view on what happened. I say first read the book and then judge.

Since I don't have money to spend on books right now I guess I will just have to wait and see if the library gets a copy.

And I'll wait to see what you guys have to say when you are done reading it.

The guy was asked about something in the book and he had to ask if that was really in there..tells me he didn't write shit, well maybe the guy actually writing it might let him have the final period and a lolipop dipped in white shit to keep him quiet.

I think the person who did the writing was his mother.

Totally off topic but you just reminded me to see if the library has Russel Brands biography. Very Happy

I'm with Just Me. Definately a curiosity read.

Oh and I'm done with Russell Brand's Bio if the library hasn't got it.
